Matthew Lindsay
Matthew Lindsay is the NSERC/Syncrude Industrial Research Chair in Mine Closure Geochemistry and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geological Sciences at the University of Saskatchewan. His research focuses on biogeochemical processes in mine waste and their influence on the chemical composition of associated waters. Ongoing research projects include investigations of biogeochemical processes in oil sands mining landscapes, impacts of mineral transformations on metal and metalloid mobility, and probabilistic assessment of groundwater flow and contaminant transport.
