Ulrich Mayer
Ulrich Mayer is a Professor in the Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of British Columbia. He is an internationally recognized expert in the field of reactive transport modelling and numerical analysis of groundwater systems. Over the past 20 years, he has led the development of the widely-used reactive transport model MIN3P for investigating the complexities of contaminant migration, natural attenuation, and treatment. MIN3P has been applied to variably-saturated mine waste deposits including tailings and more recently also waste rock.
